RUNE Os (Krumm- Heller)

Number: 4

Astrological Correspondence: Scorpio

Color: Dark Red

Stone: Topaz

Symbolism: Realization, Offering

Meditation:

In this Rune one works with the physical body in a balanced manner. The legs open in a balanced manner, the hands are placed in front in a balanced way and then touch the waist, making “handles”. It is thus because in this Rune (already armed with willpower) the doors are opened for the achievement of the internal powers and, therefore, there must be a balance between the solar and the lunar sectors, between the celestial sector and the terrestrial one.

As soon as this Rune is realized, the disciple has to say: “I CAN”, to any situation that is presented to them.

Short Practice Description:

The legs are opened, and the hands are brought to the front at height of the waist, hands down. One inhales through the nose and then the breath exhaled saying: “T….O….R…N“

(When one reaches the “R”, one begins to bring in the arms in and touch the waist on the “N”.)

Then, making use of the Willpower and with the thought fixed on creating magical forces, once the inhalation is done, the air is retained in the lungs always thinking: “I AM ALL POWER, ALL WILL, AND ALL MOVEMENT. IN ME THE THORN AND MOVEMENT RUNES ARE REALIZED.”

Long Description:

Let’s go to the next one, the OS Rune which is under the influence of Scorpio, and that, just like the FA Rune, which had its arms upwards, Os has them downwards. In this way and of the others which is the Othil Rune and Olin in Mexico or movement.

So, after having the arm placed at the waist, put both arms downwards and then both at the waist to complete the Mantram saying THORN:

“T0oooooRrrrrrrrNnnnn“

Which when we remove the ‘N’ becomes ‘TOR’, ‘DOR’ and, as we know, signifies DOOR in English and is, as it were the door that opens for the attainment of Internal Powers.

Let it be well understood, that the door is opened if we have charged ourselves with WILLPOWER and with what we call insistence.

OLIN in Aztec is the sign of Quetzalcoatl God of the Wind, God of Life and thus OLIN is the Rune of respiration.

So you have to charge yourself, inundate yourself, with air, life, with Prana, inspiring through the nose and then exhaling the breath saying the “TOoooooRrrrrrrrNnnnn.”

Armed, then, with willpower and with the thought fixed or concentrated on creating magical forces, once making an inspiration, the air is retained in the lungs each time while thinking:

“I am all power, all Will, and all Movement. In me the Thorn and Movement Runes are realized.“

From this moment on the disciple must impose their willpower, feeling capable, making what they want to prevail but without hurting others, without ceasing to be kind, and affectionate to all, but from the whole of our being, there must be something imperative, so that others say: “This man is strong, and knows how to command.”

We have to never say: “I cannot do this or that”, instead one must said: “I CAN”

If the magical-runic value of the Thorn Rune is 3 or is the Trinity, then the OS Rune is represented by 4 and the two Runes form the septenary.

The two together represent, as we have id, Willpower, Action, the All, but also death and reincarnation, the Lap/Bosom, the Mouth, the Christ as Logos, oratory and inspiration.

Above all, you have to do a previous concentration when doing the exercises.

The disciple must meditate that these practices are composed of a Septenary or seven bodies, one encased within the other, and that their breath and their respiration, must permeate them all at the same time, producing in the interior something like an amalgam, in such a way, that the air goes to each of the bodies that corresponds in the corresponding form also, that is to say, more material or more subtle, so that it acts and drives in all our vehicles bringing to us the Cosmic Christ so that it leads us to the Divine Origin from which we have departed and to which we must return.

But before the latter concept becomes possible, we must try to act on our physical organism, on our body, which is our instrument, using the practices and exercises that have been carefully guarded for initiates and centuries by the secret societies among whom the Rose Cross Fraternity has always excelled as a guardian of Runic Magic.
